Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on his statement against the anti-CAA protesters has said that some people say that they will not show any of their documents but will ask for evidence on where Lord Ram was born.

He said that for thousands of years the world believes that Ram was born in Ayodhya. He also accused the people who are asking the evidence for Ram's birthplace for their duplicity, hypocrisy and intellectual dishonesty.

He also attacked the opposition parties and the leftists that if they want to teach BJP about secularism they had to defeat the government and come to power. He said, “You don't teach us secularism, inclusion and human rights. Have you ever talked about the human rights of victims of terrorism and extremist violence? Never."

The Union Minister earlier has slammed Congress President Sonia Gandhi and asked her not to teach Raj Dharma to the BJP government.

Ravi Shankar Prasad also said that even former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Ashok Gehlot, and Lal Krishna Advani has asked for citizenship rights for minorities of other countries. He accused Sonia Gandhi of provoking people at the Ramleela Maidan and said that she urged people against CAA.
